Community-based Training in Climate Change, is a pilot project in cooperation with FES with the aim of building capacity and raising awareness about climate change across the Kingdom. This is to reduce their vulnerability to climate change. Another major objective is to build and strengthen the GGF / AYCM-Jordan network among local communities to bring out climate leaders who are able to take the lead on emerging issues related to climate change.

In cooperation with the Zero Waste initiative in the suburb of Al-Hussein Mixed School located in Um Uthaina, the museum was the first of its kind in the Kingdom’s schools. This museum aims to raise students’ environmental awareness and play a fundamental and effective role in achieving the vision and strategic directions of Jordan’s government, which aims to focus on environmental education, awareness and community participation.

This march comes in conjunction with the annual global conference of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which is held annually.

Green Generation Foundation incorporation with Friedrich Ebert Foundation and under the patronage of Ministry of Environment, Implemented the “Youth Engagement in Jordan’s National Climate Policy Project”.  This project aims to prepare a generation of young Jordanians to have a conscious commitment to environmental issues and will focus on building the skills and capacities of young leaders in debates, research and leadership on contemporary environmental issues to be a future climate negotiators representing Jordan.

The Green Worker provides the required professional experience to university students wishing to work in the developmental and environmental sectors, enabling them with the knowledge and skills needed to find green and sustainable solutions in their communities and the ability to sustain themselves and their society.

Provide a platform for future leaders in the environmental field, who constitute an important and targeted segment of Jordanian university students to meet and display their skills to speak in front of the public and to creatively express their views on contemporary environmental issues and to propose solutions to bring positive changes.
